The Beach + your RV +
Pleasure Point

Tucked between Rodeo Creek and Corcoran Lagoon in Santa Cruz's legendary East Side, you'll find all 16 of Pleasure Point's full-hookup RV spots. Here, we wake up to birdsong.

Step out of your rig and breathe the kind of ocean air you can taste. A few more steps and you're on the beach in no time, with all the time to watch the sun light up our south swell.

Spend your day maxxing or relaxing, then catch the sunset perched in the park — it’s all good in Santa Cruz.

Out here it’s west of the west, which means the surf and the sun, and the sights and the sounds must be your compass.

Ask and we can help you search…it’s a lot more fun to find. But first—you need a basecamp.

Nice, clean RV spot that's a short walk from the beach and some shops. Easy access and parking for our 26' RV. Full service hookups also made it a more comfortable stay. We'll be back for sure!

The location was ideal! A short walk to the beach, local restaurants and shops. Even though nestled off the road, traffic noise was not an issue. The owner lives nearby and is available for anything (even bringing you quarters).

We used to stay closer to Monterey but we found this RV park and were not disappointed. It is quiet and clean. Easily accessible to beaches and Capitola itself. We loved our stay and this will be our new summer destination, if not a few more times a year.

Bike trails right out the front door will take you to the boardwalk, and all through the parks around here. Spend the day at the beach which is just down the road within walking or biking distance. Overall a great place to call home base for your trip to Santa Cruz CA.

Since I have stayed in this area before for an extended period, I know you can't beat the location of this place. It is very easy to walk to a large variety of restaurants and coffee shops across the street. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the ocean where I have seen sea otters and whales.

Short walk to the beach where we saw dolphin, otter, surfers, and sunsets. Short walk to coffee, other restaurants, and interesting residential neighborhoods. The full time onsite managers are nice and friendly and obviously work hard and constantly to operate and maintain the property in top condition.

One of those hidden gem places to stay in Santa Cruz other than the always booked state parks! Pet friendly too! We'll be back again!

Spot is located only a mile from a great surf spot, clean facilities, nice hot shower, and management is extremely kind. They even came out and moved us to a spot that gave us more room and was nicer. We will stay here again next time we are in Santa Cruz.

Beach RV Pleasure Point is for everyone

Hook up with us and camp next to salt-brined surfers and smiling snowbirds marinating in the sun. Families back from the beach and Europeans on their big California adventure.

We're a second home for Valley folks beating the heat, digital nomads working soft, and athletes chasing race day. But it's the sandpipers, snowy egrets, and 224 other species of birds* who own the place — the only long-termers allowed.

Before you book

Quick answers to the questions we hear most.

Every site is compact. The booking system filters by your RV's length and slide-outs — just remember your site length needs to include space to park your vehicle: some sites park in line, some perpendicular at your site.

Maximum stay is 21 nights, with a 2-night move-off between stays. We don't offer long-term leases, but we do offer seasonal monthly terms from October through March.

Check-in is 1:00–10:00 PM, check-out by noon. It's self-service — a link in your confirmation email checks you in, so you can pull right into your site. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for a fee.

Cancellations and modifications: call, email, or text the office — there's no online cancellation. Below applies to stays of 30 days or less.

  • 14+ days before check-in: full refund minus a $35 processing fee.
  • 7–14 days: a cancellation charge of one night's rate.
  • Less than 7 days: no refund.
  • No-show or same-day cancellation: no refund.
  • Holidays and special events: no refund.
  • No refund after check-in.
