Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz
Pleasure Point is where the surf culture runs deep and the pace slows down. Killer breaks, blufftop trails, craft coffee roasters, and neighborhood taquerias — all connected by the laid-back, creative energy that drew surfers, artists, and travelers here for decades.
Beach RV Pleasure Point is the only RV park right in the mix.
Where the Creek Meets the Coast
The park sits on the banks of Rodeo Creek, directly across the street from Corcoran Lagoon — a peaceful wetland and birder's paradise. Great blue herons, snowy egrets, and pelicans are regulars here. It's a surprisingly wild pocket of nature tucked between the neighborhood and the coast.
The Locals' Beaches
Head left, right, or just over the bluffs — these are the local-favorite beaches that most visitors never find.
Just over the lagoon, Santa Mo's is one of the less-crowded beaches in Santa Cruz — a mellow neighborhood favorite, and your best bet when you want a little more room to spread out.
Head right from the park along the lagoonKnown locally as "Two-Six" — a famous shortboard break and a local-favorite strip along the bluff, reached by a hidden staircase down to the sand. Great for swimming, boogie boarding, or watching the sunset paint the south-facing coastline gold.
Head left from the park, right at 26thA small, sheltered cove tucked between residential streets, with a sandy beach and rocky points on both sides. Local party beach — weekends draw a crowd.
Head right, then left at 17thA quiet local cut between the bluffs — small, easy to walk right past, and the most tucked-away of the bunch. When the closer beaches get busy, this is the one locals slip off to for a little solitude.
